Nicholas Scott, MD


Dr. Scott completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Davis graduating Summa Cum Laude (highest honors). He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine where he received recognition as Medical Student of the Year. He completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency as well as a fellowship in Pain Management both at the University of Texas Southwestern. Dr. Scott is skilled in providing comprehensive care including pain-relieving interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablations as well as more advanced procedures such as stellate ganglion blocks and kyphoplasty. He has worked in the Valley his entire private practice career and his patients appreciate his compassion and true desire to help them with their pain conditions.


Dr. Scott is very involved with volunteering and during medical school spent considerable time over several years doing volunteer work in the Dominican Republic. He also remains active as an outside medical consultant with both the Arizona Medical Board and the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners in Medicine and Surgery.Dr. Scott has been a sought-out presenter at numerous conferences speaking on a variety of subjects ranging from complex regional pain syndrome to opioids and risk management. He has also given back to the medical community in the form of research with a number of studies, most recently with a case report on neuropathic pain.

Dr. Scott is currently seeing patients at our Sun City location while our Scottsdale office is under construction!
